As I go into the Earth, she pierces my heart. As I penetrate further, she unveils me... I have known her all my life, yet she reveals stories to me, and these stories are revelations and I am transformed. Each time I go to her I am born like this. Her renewal washes over me endlessly...
Susan Griffin

Ecopsychology recognises that we are intimately connected with, embedded within, arisen from and inseparable from nature. We are nature knowing itself, celebrating itself in special modes of conscious self-awareness, compassionate love and co-creativity.
The inner and outer sciences that explore the nature of nature—psychology, spirituality, physics, ecology—all agree that we are inseparable from the inter-connected field of being. We are one with the One...We are a self within the Self of the Universe...We are a subject within a larger Subjectivity.
We at eCoevolutionaries facilitate process that assist people to explore these realities in their own experience, to explore the mysterious horizons of who we are within the mystery of evolving Nature.
Our process enables people to expand their sense of identity. They experience a shift from the small self —the skin encapsulated ego—to the vast Self that is the field of inter-being. Our attachment to our small self generates disharmony, conflict and dis-ease. Our liberation into our larger Self creates presence, open-hearted radiance, an awake aliveness to the evolutionary flow of possibility.
Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh coined the term inter-being. he says...it is not possible to be alone, by yourself. You need other people in order to be...father, mother...brother, sister, society, but you also need sunshine, river, air, trees, birds, elephants...it is impossible to be by yourself, alone. You have to inter-be with everyone and everything else, and therefore, to be means to inter-be.
So ecopsychology is about restoring our relationship to all things. It is about resting our being and re-sourcing our doing in connection to the great whole of which we are part. It is about releasing the self-contraction—the contractions of the body, emotions, mind, persona—so as to listen to the larger Self that is our own True Nature. It is about being in continual dialogue with this larger Self, learning to be Present, listening deeply to its voice, being guided by its evolutionary wisdom.
Living as a self-in-Self we have access to insight, intuitions, open-Hearted generosity and the boundless potentials of co-creativity.
We are much more than we know ourselves to be
